Magnus Gjoen, ‘Florence Uzi Pink’, 2017, Flat Space Art

London born to Norwegian parents artist Magnus Gjoen started his career in fashion, studying fashion design in London and Milan and has worked as a denim designer and graphic designer for Vivienne Westwood amongst others. His fashion background infuses his art with a slight touch of punk, shining a new light on old concepts and re-interpreting these with the purpose of questioning these ideas between the viewer and the preconceived notions of objects. This is unique and something which is seemingly powerful and destructive is transfigured into beautiful and fragile objects of art. Green and Pink. The title of this piece suggest beautiful things aren't perfect, there is always a layer underneath. Its a wonderful piece of art to immerse yourself in! Few left! Invest in Art, Art is for Life!
