Educated at the University of Warsaw, Design Academy Eindhoven and the Royal College of Art, Marcin has attracted considerable attention for his collection of furniture and lightingLondon designer Marcin Rusak has created a collection of furniture and lighting developed by encasing flowers in resin, then cutting the blocks to reveal the petals inside.

Marcin spent two years developing the collection, producing two types of the material to create the basis of the Flora products, named Flora Perma and Flora Temporaria.

The Perma variation was used for the lamp and screen, and 'freezes' the petal at the point of immersion into resin, whereas the Temporaria ages, and over time the petals change their volume and create silver voids of light around their structures.
