Breeskin dates this work, which she knew only in this apparently unique impression c. 1905; but Henri Petiet's note on the verso, "See 118- 1889," which connects this subject with Breeskin 118, After Dinner Coffee, suggests a date more consistent with the style and technique of the works of this earlier period.
