About Marzia Rossi

Having studied under artist jewelers Giampaolo Babetto, Manfred Bischoff, and Robert Smith, Italian designer Marzia Rossi began her own artistic practice Marzia Rossi Contemporary Jewelry, creating one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces for everyday wear. Her Boudoir series is reflective of her interest in collecting materials, such as old wallpapers, and her natural inclination to work with metals. Oftentimes working with overlapping layers of the same or different materials, Rossi is constantly searching for the space in between layers. For her, this is a private space, “an intimate place, where to recover my memories.” Fittingly, her work deals with the interplay between real and imagined, solid and void.
