Maysha Mohamedi's compositions are nonlinear, and her process non-conformist: she often uses hands, gloves, and found objects in lieu of paintbrushes. Atop the gesso of Teaching Ourselves to Swim, ribbons of oil intertwine like a deconstructed Miro mobile. Mohamedi’s work has been exhibited extensively throughout California.
