Michela Martello was born in Grosseto, Italy. She received a BA degree in illustration from Europe Institute of Design, after which she published works in over 30 books, primarily children’s book illustrations. After moving to New York, Martello became a fulltime painter at Arturo di Modica’s studio, the creator of the iconic Wall Street Charging bull. Her artwork has been collected and commissioned by both public and private clients, such as Serafina Group and City Cinema Group. In 2014, she had her first exhibition at Tibet House US in New York. Most recently, she has been commissioned to do a work for the permanent collection of Metropoliz Maam Museum of Rome by curators Giorgio de Finis and Stefania Giazzi.
