Miharu Lane earned a bachelors degree in Fine Arts from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and an M.F.A. from Marywood University, PA. She has also studied at Virginia Commonwealth University, Maryland Institute College of Art, and California College of Arts and Crafts.
Her work has been part of group exhibits at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD, and at The Pennsylvania State University in University Park. Her collections are also exhibited in the Poster Collection at the Museum of Modern Art and in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

Lane has been listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who of American Women. She teaches art at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
