In November 2009, an All You Need Is Love wheatpaste accented with pink aerosol was originally placed on the facade of a red brick building in the Meatpacking District of New York City. It was instantly recognized as the work of Mr. Brainwash, who had become known for his appropriation of the images of pop-culture icons like John Lennon. The lyrics of the eponymous work could not be more fitting to describe Mr. Brainwash's body of work: "There’s nothing you can know that isn't known. Nothing you can see that isn't shown." Produced a year after, the print was embellished with a splatter of pink paint towards the lower left corner. Mr. Brainwash has exhibited extensively around the world, including recent shows at Art Miami and LA Art Show.
