This is a view of the Moon’s crater Hortensius, which is approximately twenty miles in diameter. The smaller crater at the right is Hortensius C. This photo was taken February 20, 1967 with an 80 mm focal length lens at an altitude of 33 miles above ground. The area is about 150 miles West-southwest of the crater Copernicus.
