About Nikki Rosato

Nikki Rosato believes that road maps are “remarkably human” and consequently uses their lines to construct figural pieces. Her works explores how spatial memory can directly impact identity, and the changes that occur when that sense of self is impacted by complex relationships with other places and people. This unique form of portraiture combines the precision of cartography with the fluidity of identity over time.
