Pat York, a photographer whose work encompasses subjects as diverse as fashion, live surgical operations, and travel is especially renowned for her Trilogy of celebrities, nudes and cadavers. This presents her work to the world with the hope of opening the eye and mind of the observer. The Trilogy examines human nature on a totally different level. The photographs compel the viewer to look at humans beyond their superficial skin. It allows us to realize that, despite race, religion, and socio-economic factors, we are all the same under our fragile covering.
