Patricia Pearce, ‘Borrowed Dimension I & Borrowed Dimension II’, 2016, ViVO Contemporary

This piece was inspired by a visit to Anchor Temple in Cambodia. The walls were covered with beautiful tracks if ancient mold and fresco like pieces of the temple interior walls. Artist Patricia Pearce created most of the print area using dyes that she allowed to evaporate slowly leaving the tracks as it dried. Collage material was added in some of the areas for fresco representation. This piece is under glass to protect the delicate nature of the Collage. The piece is wired and ready to hang. Everything about the piece gives the feeling of a fragment found in an ancient archeology dig.
