Paul Corio, ‘The Harpies of the Bronx’, 2013, CMA: Benefit Auction 2016

Paul Corio is a NYC-based artist. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Corio received a B.F.A. from Rhode Island School of Design and an M.F.A. from Hunter College. His work has been exhibited extensively worldwide. Most recently, Corio was featured in a solo exhibition at McKenzie Fine Art, titled Ghostzapper. Corio’s work focuses on color. He notes “My work is principally about color; specifically, the use of carefully mixed sequences of color that create the illusion of atmospheric space and spreading light.”
