With the help of Art Instruction School in Minnesota, Pete Kasprzak has taught himself to create a style of vibrant art which has caught the interest of many art shows, art blogs, TV shows, and newspapers across Canada and the United States. He always strives to show energy and life in new and innovative ways through his artwork.
Pete Kasprzak created this one-of-a-kind 11" tall by 14" wide photography and mixed media artwork by applying oil paint on an original photograph printed on archival photo paper. The photograph was taken by the artist. The unique textures and reflection of the oil paint set itself apart from the beautiful glossy and smooth finish of the photograph. Pete has been showcasing his art in San Francisco’s Art district, New England and Los Angeles. Many successful gallery exhibitions in Toronto include the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Elaine Fleck Gallery, Norman Felix Gallery and Toronto’s Nuit Blanche.
Pete has been a featured artist in “The Artist Project” which is one of North America’s largest art shows, winning the “People’s Choice Award”. He has finished up a more than successful collaboration with pieces featuring Motley Crue, Rob Zombie, Jon 5, Mix Master Mike, Tommy Lee and PhilX from Bon Jovi and he is always striving to let his creativity express in new forms.
“Every art piece I create is unique and portrays a symbolic visual of the urban culture I see. I give my photographs depth and movement with carefully chosen brush strokes lain on top of them. Sometimes my pieces have few strokes and sometimes they have many. It depends on the effect I choose to achieve.”
