An iconic American midcentury light, Johnson and Kelly's floor lamp has always been associated with the galleries of Mark McDonald. Over the years, Mark has sold many examples, including several of the extremely rare and early three-legged versions from specific Johnson residential commissions (the design was later modified to four legs to improve its stability). The four-legged model is in the design collections of MoMA, Montreal Museum of Fine Art, and The Glass House, New Canaan.
