"I even taught my own three children. I want all students to be independent workers above everything. And then they should be fluent readers and master basic math concepts by the end of this year," says Theresa Dodzo, Standard 1 educator at Tombo Primary, in Nyanga. Dodzo has 21 years of classroom experience. "Farai is my first born and he is a pharmacist. Symbol is an actuarial consultant and Kudzi is an electrical engineer. They all graduated from the University of Zimbabwe and that makes me so proud. Like all parents, I struggled to save for my children’s education. But I’m so proud of them.”
