Silver Gelatin Print on Ilford Galerie Fiber Based Paper

The Noir series is inspired by the artist's fondness for Hollywood's film noir period, which lasted from the early 1940s to the late 1950s. This is evidenced in Moran's use of strong blacks, moody atmosphere and formal composition.

An aura of mystery is evoked in the photographs, soliciting a spark of imagination, leading viewers to construct their own narrative.

The photographs are expertly rendered as silver gelatin prints, lush in tonal range.

Signature: Signed, Dated, Numbered, Titled on verso.
