Salvador Juanpere, ‘Muse Vénale’, ca. 2015, Artgráfico

Free version of the sculpture "Muse endormie" by Brancusi that contains the text "Muse vénale", title of a poem by Baudelaire. The text is written with the jet technique
water and penetrates all the sculpture. Superposition of two archetypal representations to sculpture and literature in which the concept of "muse" refers to the inspiring divinities of art. Bernini's muse is asleep and Baudelaire's muse makes reference to a real person and life not exemplary.
