Ṣèyí Adebanjo, ‘Afromystic (Trailer)’, 2016-2017, Bronx Museum of the Arts

Afromystic is a feature length Afrosurrealist docu-fiction (hybrid). Afromystic is the search for the Divine Love within following five practitioner priests / priestesses from the African Diaspora in the United States, Nigeria, and Brazil. The film poses the question, how did these individuals find the divine love within to be practitioners, priest/ess? What obstacles they overcome to now be a leader?
