Series: With this new series of large-scale paintings, Shray debuts a singular vision with acrylic and mixed media with Italian marble dust. The second in her interactive expressionist seres, "Silent Thousand Words," this piece echoes the creative process for Shray: each artwork is a pathway for the viewer to be a participant, a joint creator to an ongoing story that extends beyond the artwork itself. Shray creates a door to the viewer's sense of creation—a safe passage to one's own message. "Interactive expressionism is my process and goal. This force allows me to capture the essence of life—in the eyes, a tilt of the head, a flicker of a smile—the spark, the silent thousand words of a moment of human experience."
