Larry nixed, Trachea trixed is part of the cycle Long Legged Linguistics that investigates language politics. The work looks at various attempts to extend or embed Soviet influence by cyrillicizizing sounds or phonemes that did not previously exist in the Russian Cyrillic alphabet.

Slavs and Tatars founded 2006 in Eurasia, live and work in Berlin, Germany. Slavs and Tatar is a faction of polemics and intimacies devoted to an area east of the former Berlin Wall and west of the Great Wall of China known as Eurasia. The collective’s practice is based on three activities: exhibitions, books and lecture performances.
