Berlin-based Steffi Götze uses silver and enamel on copper as a way to explore shapes, colors, lines, surfaces, and textures that express "the space in between" and their influence on each other.

Götze fires her enamel at 1562 degrees Fahrenheit creating a super smooth finish yet plays with the fine line of the melting point of enamel, leaving some parts "rough", or with a textured "sugar" finish usually in a bright and distinct color, to represent the idea of contrariety and contrast.
