Steven and William Ladd, ‘Antique Cuff’, 2003, Mingei International Museum

This cuff is made with 19th century antique metal beads, thread, and a contemporary tubular silver clasp. It is constructed with peyote stitch with beaded carriers on either end connecting to the clasp. A rectangular motif bordered in green beads covers three quarters of the cuff. William made this cuff for himself.

Cuff dimensions: 7 2/8 x 1 7/8 x 1/4 inches.
