Makers’ Mark: The 2014 MAD Biennial Opens its Doors to New York’s Top Creatives
This cuff was commissioned by a dear high school friend and is made with 19th century antique metal beads, thread, and a contemporary tubular silver clasp. It is constructed with peyote stitch with four beaded carriers on either end connecting to the clasp. The box is made of paper board, raw silk, thread and a nickel snap. This is one of the earliest boxes we made and may have incorporated glue.
Cuff dimensions: 7 1/2 x 1 1/8 x 1/4 inches.
