About Tim Biskup

Fueled by the raw energy of punk rock and influenced by the characters of Disney and Japanese anime, Tim Biskup produces paintings, sculptures, prints, and toys with a muscular, graphic intensity. A resolute outsider, Biskup left art school, choosing to hone his skills and develop his vision through work as an illustrator, animator, and graphic designer. This non-traditional training is apparent in works like Follow Me (2008), which depicts a reclining woman seemingly floating in abstract space, the entire composition rendered in dynamic, colorful shapes.
