About the work
Tommy Grace
Scottish, b. 1979
Follow

Tommy Grace meticulously appropriates elements of antiquity to create works that balance a series of dichotomies: chaos and control, history and the contemporary, nature and technology. Grace works independently and in collaboration with his partner, Kate Owens, to create installations, works on paper, and sculpture. He playfully incorporates Latin dummy text, Greco-Roman sculpture, and classical architecture as well as mundane consumer products like red wine and soft drinks.
