Tracey's Butterfly Series in mixed-media adopts 3-D butterflies to beautifully represent scenarios, emotions, senses or actions whilst bringing additional movement to this distinctive collection. The butterflies pop out. Tracey Thornton is an incredibly acclaimed artist. Pieces include landscape and abstract work. They embrace colour in a liberated style rewarding the viewer with a sense of well being. From July 2016, Tracey has been a resident artist with Flat Space Art, Notting Hill, London. She was exhibiting locally before with Saatchi Art and Fine Art America. She is also heavily involved in the Charitable Art May 2016: the Childrens' Trust Auction, and most recently for Flat Space Art Frame the Future beneficiary at Sexy Fish, Berkeley Square, London alongside Boris Johnson and the world acclaimed photographer David Yarrow. The piece is a sea of colours, shades of blue, aquamarine, azure, cobalt, cornflower, cyan, powder blue, royal blue, sapphire, sky blue, turquoise even perhaps ultramarine. Dashes of buttercup yellow, tinges and hues of pinks, crises, coral, flesh-colour, rose, salmon, shell pink, shocking pinks, lots of shades of reds, burgundy, cardinal red, cherry red, crimson, flame red, magenta.
