An Umbrian bronze figure of a nude warrior, dating to the second half of the 5th Century BC.
Depicting a striding warrior, wearing a conical helmet and carrying a round shield, raising his right arm to throw a spear. The eyes, mouth, nipples and belly button all finely incised.
This wonderfully stylised, slender warrior comes from central Italy, where he would have been dedicated in a shrine or sanctuary as a gift to the gods.
