There is an affixed press label verso which reads “Dali Dallies, Paris, France. A man who doesn't like nudes...? well almost..... Famous painter Salvador Dali clowns around with Italian Bolttini’s painting of “woman Washing”.... Salvador was presiding over the inauguration of his exhibition organised in honour of his favourite painter Meissonier .... in Paris. Dated 2nd November 1967. Dali can be seen in this photograph holding his hand over a nude - almost as if he wishes to conceal it as being too rude.
