Viktor & Rolf made a series of unique, handmade porcelain dolls to translate their grand statements into miniature. Each doll is a scaled-down version of the most iconic garments from various seasonal collections. Joan is named after Joan Smalls, who modelled the original outfit at the 2011 Spring/Summer show in Paris to a remix of Billy Idol's "White Wedding."

Made of silk gazar, the white shirt features a tail hem and an embroidered collar decorated in pearls—detailing scrupulously replicated in miniature. As well as the clothes, Viktor & Rolf reproduced the silk veil and the hairstyle, made from human hair. The makeup was also painted onto porcelain exactly how it appeared at the show.
