A set of three Kastrup Sconces were sold Artcurial, Paris May 20, 2015, lot 120, for Euro 5,850. In 1936, Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen (1894-1984) won the international design competition for the Kastrup Airport, Copenhagen. These sconces were made in a variety of sizes to light the new terminal which is today a listed building used for receiving heads of state and important visitors to the Danish capital.--Courtesy of Doyle
