Leave New York City for the day and head North with artist Tony Matelli – destination: the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield, CT. Hear the artist on his latest solo project, Garden, an extension of the highly acclaimed exhibition of the same name that was on view at Marlborough Chelsea in 2015 and is an example of Matelli’s astonishing craftsmanship at its best. Continue the conversation about his characteristically playful, sarcastic, dark and witty art practice over lunch, where you will also be joined by the curators of this unique museum, dedicated solely to emerging contemporary artists.
The behind-the-scenes continues with an afternoon trip to DIA:Beacon, where you will meet with ICI Collaborator Rotem Rozental for an intimate guided visit of the Riggio Galleries. Get closer than anyone else to some of the most impressive works of the collection, including the monolithic installations by Michael Heizer.
This is priceless, unique experience can include up to four people. Lunch and driver for the day included.
