Artist's Statement
4 x 3 weekly reviews for Life Collection. A transcontinental collaborative art project
These 4 triptychs include the visual comments of 5 artists (South African Mpho Molikeng and Neil Nieuwoudt, Austrian Susanna Gruber and Wolf Werdigier, Walter Stach also as visual commentator and as visual designer of the complete series) refering to 4 articles in 4 editions of 2 weekly reviews (South African Mail & Guardian, Austrian Falter) published during the 4 weeks of my stay in Joburg as artist in residence at 12 Decades Art Hotel / Mainstreet Life november-december 2012; continued and finished january 2013 in Vienna.

Biography
MA degree; artist and art mediator; studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and at the University of Vienna, graduated 1971; previous professional works at Academic Secondary School, University College of Teacher Education, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, University of Vienna, University of Applied Arts Vienna, Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt, Museum of Modern Art Vienna, Museums Education Service; Office for Cultural Mediation, KulturKontakt Austria and at numerous social, educational, cultural and art initiatives and NPO action groups; book- and other publications.
Founder member and member of the board of the Austrian Anti-Apartheid-Movement; constant artificial contacts with South African artists since 2008.
