Wieslaw Borkowski, ‘Lost in your arm’, 2016, E-Moderne Gallerie

This work is matted with silk edge.
Inspired by Emilie Simon's song “Perdue Dans Tes Bras” meaning “lost in your arms.” Swift strokes and warmth of red color blend with the beautiful feeling of this French song.

This "writing" is abstract and has a calligraphic form, resembling Chinese running script, thus the series is called "Musical Calligraphy". The form is unrestrained, rhythmic and emotional, each work is my interpretation of a particular piece.

Please ask the gallery about the Characteristic of the cursive script known as "grass script", 草書.
