Working in New York City, WK Interact is inspired by the fast pace, pressure, and constant movement of contemporary urban life. He makes site-specific wheatpaste posters, large-scale murals, and monochromatic paintings on canvas that depict distorted figurative imagery. His brushwork is expressive, using broad smears, splatters, and blurring effects to create the illusion of explosive motion. In 2009, WK created “12 Angry Men,” a series of monochromatic portraits on canvas that focused on the frozen faces of twelve grimacing men.
