Wright Morris, ‘Panama, Nebraska’, 1947, Be-hold

Two gelatin silver contact prints, 4x 5- inches. One shows the Panama Railway Express Agency Depot. It has red pen cropping lines and Morris' initials drawn on the surface. The other shows the Depot Wagon. Both have writing and numbers on the verso. They were prepared in connection with an exhibition of Morris' photographs at the Sheldon Gallery in Nebraska and the Corcoran Gallery in Washington. The red markings on the first are part of the object, so both are [4-]
