On Wednesday, April 5, Art in General holds its 2017 Visionary Awards Gala, honoring artist Xaviera Simmons, gallerist Candice Madey, and curator Xiaoyu Weng. Since 1981, Art in General has been at the forefront of discovering new talent, hosting exhibitions by artists early in their careers, including Glenn Ligon, Marina Abramović, Gabriel Orozco, Sharon Hayes and numerous others.
