Artists for the Rohingya x Artolution is thrilled to offer art by Rohingya refugee artists, Emily Cheng, Vik Muniz, James Rosenquist, Robert Wilson, and other generous artists in support of Rohingya Artolution.
Artolution is a visionary non-profit organization whose mission is to create inclusive and transformative experiences where crisis-affected communities globally cultivate their own strengths and resilience through collaborative art-making. We have facilitated more than 2000 projects in 35 countries serving over 10,000 people annually. Artists Vik Muniz and Dustin Yellin serve as Artolution global ambassadors. Artolution’s partners have included UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency) and UNICEF. Our work has been presented at the United Nations and the World Economic Forum.
This auction supports Rohingya Artolution’s extraordinary work with Rohingya refugee and Bangladeshi teaching artists, children, and families, both in the refugee camps in Bangladesh - the largest single refugee camp in the world - and in Burma/Myanmar. The Rohingya community has been well forgotten on the global stage, and the conflict that drove them to flee has escalated recently with little notice. As despair increases, funding has moved on to other crises. With this auction, we aim to fill the gap for Rohingya Artolution and support this healing and transformative work.

Bidding for this auction will take place exclusively on Artsy and will begin to close on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 12:00pm EDT.
All artworks will ship from different locations as noted on the lot pages. Shipping costs and all applicable fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Please contact specialist@artsy.net for any inquiries.
Applicable sales tax will apply to all works shipped to and within the United States. Please note, for purchases under $50,000 your card will automatically be charged for the Total Purchase Price, including but not limited to any applicable buyer’s premium, shipping, and sales tax, based on your registration address.
