Asia Society Museum: Benefit Auction 2024

Asia Society Museum celebrates Asian women artists and architects for their significant contributions to contemporary art that reflect our everchanging global landscape. A group of distinguished artists are supporting the Museum's efforts with this exclusive auction, open only on Artsy from Tuesday, May 7 to Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Featured artists include: Francesco Clemente, Vibha Galhotra, Jitish Kallat, Yayoi Kusama, Christian Marclay, Hiroshi Sugimoto, and Sara VanDerBeek.

Proceeds will benefit Asia Society’s Arts and Culture programming and Museum exhibitions.

For decades, Asia Society Museum has been a pioneer in identifying and fostering the latest contemporary Asian artists, and engaging new audiences with their work. The Museum presents a wide range of pre-modern, modern, and contemporary exhibitions of Asian and Asian diaspora art. Through exhibitions and public programs, it provides a forum for the issues and viewpoints reflected in Asian and Asian diaspora art, culture, and society throughout history and up to the present day.

Bidding will be open exclusively on Artsy and will begin to close on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 12pm EDT.

This auction has a 15% buyer's premium, which will be added to the final hammer price of each sold work.

The countdown timer on the artwork pages will display the end time for the lot. Each lot closes in 1-minute increments and will be reset to 2 minutes if a bid is placed within the 2 minutes before the lot's scheduled closing time. For further information please see our FAQ
