BAM: Benefit Auction 2022

Entering its 18th year, the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Art Auction is a vibrant annual fundraiser featuring work by over 50 established and emerging artists across media. Proceeds from the auction will provide critical support in securing a resilient future for BAM’s artistic and educational programs.

Bidding in the auction will begin to close at 12:00pm EDT on Tuesday, June 14th.

All artworks will be on display June 7—13 in the Dorothy W. Levitt Lobby of the Peter Jay Sharp Building at BAM (30 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn NY) with a closing night reception open to the public on June 13 at 7 PM. Contact Arianna Mastro with questions at

BAM is a multi-disciplinary arts center located in Brooklyn, New York. For more than 150 years, BAM has been the home for adventurous artists, audiences, and ideas—engaging both global and local communities. With world-renowned programming in theater, dance, music, opera, film, and much more, BAM showcases the work of emerging artists and innovative modern masters.

This auction has a 15% buyer’s premium, which will be added to the final hammer price of each sold work. The premium allows BAM to retain more of the proceeds of the sale and offset administrative costs. Applicable shipping and taxes will be added to the hammer price as well. Donated Artwork in this sale is registered on Fairchain, a social impact initiative in support of working artists. Following purchase, Collectors will receive a purchase agreement and a blockchain-backed Certificate of Title and Authenticity from Fairchain. Please note, your card will automatically be charged for the Total Purchase Price, buyer’s premium, shipping, and any applicable sales tax, based on your registration address.
