Bronx Museum: 50th Anniversary Live Benefit Auction 2022
Since its founding in 1971, The Bronx Museum has been at the intersection of art and social justice, empowering our communities through vital cultural and educational resources. It has long championed the people of the Bronx, working to advance the rich local culture that has influenced contemporary artists and inspired audiences across the city and beyond. For over ten years, the Museum has been the only visual arts museum in NYC offering Free Admission to its nearly 100,000 visitors each year. It presents 6-12 exhibitions each year of work by contemporary artists, serves over 12,000 underserved youth annually providing access to arts education, and has provided over 1,300 emerging artists with professional development training and opportunities. At this 50-year juncture, the Museum remains committed to its belief that art and culture are essential on the path to achieving social justice and equity.
