Hamburgische Kulturstiftung: Online-Only: Benefit Auction 2021

Promote talent - create prospects! In this spirit, the Hamburgische Kulturstiftung has been actively supporting Hamburg's young cultural scene for over 30 years. With its fourth benefit art auction, the Hamburgische Kulturstiftung is raising funds for projects of diverse artistic areas by young freelance artists in Hamburg who are still particularly affected by the Covid pandemic. Furthermore, artists, gallery owners and collectors who submitted a work will get a share in the proceeds according to their ideas.

A total of 93 top-class lots will be presented at the live auction on November 15, 2021 with auctioneer Dr. Katharina zu Sayn-Wittgenstein (Sotheby’s) and at the online auction from November 2nd to 16th, 2021 on Artsy. Curated with a finger on the pulse of the modern art world, the artistic positions range from young, aspiring artists to big names in the international art scene.

A preview of the artworks will be taking place at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Steintorplatz, 20099 in Hamburg on Friday 12th – Sunday 14th November 2021, 11 am – 6 pm, and Monday 15th November 2021, 11 am – 2 pm.
