An important facet of Michael and Gabrielle Boyd's fascinating collection is their acquisition of knowledge and their impressive library. Word + Image features nearly 300 lots and over 2500 books, posters, photographs and more. From surveys on architecture, art and film to posters and advertisements featuring Bridgette Bardot, Biggie and Tupac, or artists such as Ellsworth Kelly or Frank Stella, this sale touches on many of the 20th century’s greatest cultural moments.

In advance of the auction, browse lots and place max bids before live bidding begins on November 9th at 10:00am CT (11:00am ET).

When the sale opens, all pre-registered Artsy users can participate and watch the bidding unfold in real time. Registration for the live auction will close on November 8th at 10:00am CT (11:00am ET).
