Between numerous “coming out” days, inclusive workplace coalitions, and corporate Pride campaigns, there is no denying the increased cultural expectations around and support for proudly proclaiming your identity today. Simultaneously, within the LGBTQIA+ community, there is pervasive vernacular and coding around assimilation.
