About the Atlantic World Art Fair
Welcome to the Atlantic World Art Fair. We are delighted to present 12 galleries and art projects focused on talented contemporary art makers in the Caribbean, the Atlantic Islands and the region's wider diasporas. This is a dynamic, under-represented art territory with complex, intertwined histories, relations and cultures informed by peoples of Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe.
Our artists are nationals of, or reside in, Aruba, Azores, The Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Curaçao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, St. Maarten, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, US Virgin Islands, and their diasporas. From emerging to established artists, the Atlantic World Art Fair offers a catalogue of provocative artwork.
Meet us online and share in our diverse events: critical commentary, panel discussions and studio visits. Join our Atlantic / Caribbean Collectors Club where we discuss approaches to art collecting in the region. Celebrate our new partnerships with Cayman Art Week and the Fountainhead Artist Residency Program.
Thank you to title sponsor Butterfield, the leading, independent offshore bank and trust company with full-service client offerings in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands, for supporting the vision of the Atlantic World Art Fair.
We hope you enjoy your experience!
