Turbine Art Fair (TAF) is a unique South African art fair that brings together exhibitors, artists and curators from around the country to present and sell contemporary artworks. The fair is fast becoming the epicentre of emerging art in Southern Africa, championing established and new talent in an accessible and inclusive environment. Founded in 2013 by The Forum Company, it is the first accessible and affordable South African art fair aimed at small scale and emerging galleries as well as emerging artists and collectors working toward growing the market for South African Contemporary art. TAF aims to continue to empower, educate, entertain and sell.
TAF 21 – A HYBRID ART FAIR
Turbine Art Fair presents a new hybrid fair of online viewing rooms and exhibition space at 10 Fricker road Illovo. A new way to experience and relish in art and culture during the pandemic.
The 2021 programme themed Evergreen, will showcase a selection of art exhibitions by South African and Southern African galleries, collectives, art dealers, creative project spaces, as well as featured specially curated exhibitions taking place from 30 September – 3 October 2021, online, on Artsy and IRL at 10 Fricker Road, Illovo, JHB, South Africa.

After one of the most challenging years globally, we still find ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic that to be staying. While we have lost lives and income, we have all had to find new ways to hold on and survive. Our humanity remains evergreen, our success lies in our ability to adapt with our sense of humanity, with love and kindness, in our compassion for each other.
