Cosmoscow 2016

Cosmoscow, the only international contemporary art fair in Russia and the CIS will take place from 9–11 September 2016 at Gostiny Dvor, Moscow. This year’s fair is supported by strategic partner Credit Suisse and jewelry partner Carrera y Carrera.

Maintaining its reputation as the leading platform for building country’s contemporary art market, the fair brings together international and Russian artists, galleries and collectors on an annual basis. By established tradition, the fair’s Expert Committee carefully selects leading and emerging international and Russian galleries in order to introduce Cosmoscow guests to the finest examples of contemporary art in the region.

Besides its main programming, the forthcoming edition will also feature an extensive parallel programme including numerous non-commercial exhibition projects. In 2016, Cosmoscow will continue with the specially curated exhibition of private loans, Collector’s Eye, and the Off White charity auction in benefit of the Naked Heart Foundation, supported by Christie’s, as well as Cosmoscow Talks and Cosmoscow Kids projects.

The 2016 advisory board of the fair is led by the owners of The Ekaterina Cultural Foundation Ekaterina and Vladimir Semenikhin, who will work with longstanding members such as Dillyara Allahverdova, Antoine Arnault and Natalia Vodianova, Teresa Mavica, Vassily Tsereteli, and Olga Vaschilina.
