On the occasion of The Armory Show 2014, Artsy and NOWNESS present a rare tour of commissioned Armory Artist Xu Zhen’s Shanghai studio. Through the lens of filmmaker Anthony Chen, the film captures a workspace replete with plush toys, S&M inspired sculptures, and lush paintings, illustrating the artist’s provocative humor and wildly expansive practice.
