ARTWALK NY to benefit Coalition for the Homeless: Benefit Auctions 2023

Coalition for the Homeless is delighted to present ARTWALK NY 2023, an online and in-person auction supporting this year’s ARTWALK NY gala fundraiser. The gala is presented by Max Mara and will take place at Powerhouse Arts on November 16, 2023. Works from nearly 50 artists will be auctioned online in the two-weeks leading up to the event, and will continue during the event until lots close. All proceeds from art sales support the Coalition’s 11 lifesaving programs that provide emergency food and clothing, eviction prevention, crisis services, permanent housing, job training and programs for youth to more than 3,500 homeless and at-risk individuals each day. The event also helps raise awareness about the homelessness crisis and the Coalition’s ongoing fight for the proven, humane and cost-effective solutions that will end mass homelessness.

Works by Jenny Holzer, Ed Ruscha, Kenny Scharf, and Stanley Whitney will be auctioned live at the event during the VIP Reception, with the live auction beginning on November 16 at approximately 7:00 pm EST (4:00 pm PST). Online bidding will be open before and during the live auction for remote participation. Bidding for all silent auction works will take place entirely online.

Bidding for the silent auction will take place exclusively on Artsy. Bidding opens Thursday, November 2 at 12:00 pm EDT (9:00 am PDT). All silent auction lots will close on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 9:30 pm EST (6:30 pm PST). Registration for the live auction will close on November 16 at 5:00 pm EST (2:00 pm PST).
