##At the Annual Benefit & Auction on November 17, 2014, ICI will pay homage to Dimitris Daskalopoulos, for his visionary approach to collecting, and the new models he has explored for exhibiting a collection. Sharing ICI’s drive to work internationally, through a network of partnerships and collaborations, Daskalopoulos established NEON, a “foundation without walls” to provide support to artists and curators, reach new audiences through free exhibitions and events, while creating an international network of cultural partnerships. ICI is honored to welcome Dimitris Daskalopoulos into the ranks of the Leos. In addition, Nancy Spector, Deputy Director and Jennifer and David Stockman Chief Curator of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, will select and present this year’s Gerrit Lansing Independent Vision Curatorial Award. The Award is given to an emerging curator every other year to encourage research and the development of a new project.
